We have shared a lot of pickleball printables on our site because they are just so very popular, this is yet another you can grab for free if you want to keep it handy for your reference. This time we are sharing a sheet that explains the different levels from what to expect at a 2.0 level up to pro 5.0 and beyond. Many of us wonder where we should classify ourselves so this should help.
Especially if you don’t have a DUPR rating but want to join a clinic or open play session it is important to categorize yourself with others who are at your level. It is not fair to others around you if you cannot keep up with others who want to play a game. Download the sheet below and see where you are accurately to pair with others, and see what you need to level up!
How to Self Rate in Pickleball
With this printable pickleball ratings chart below you can see what differentiates you from others who have more experience. Everyone starts at 1.0, when you are first beginning to learn how to play pickleball with the many rules and hits in the game. Once you have a general understanding and have played for a few hours generally you’d move to a 2.0 and with practice and some clinics you can certainly move yourself on up to higher levels.
The most time is generally moving one self from 3.5 to 4.0 (which is where I am) because of the nuances and becoming more and more consistent with your shots being in. Most recreational players don’t play enough to reach higher than a 4.0 if playing twice a week or so but depending on your previous athletic abilities, age, etc… you may fly right thru them!
